The Phoenix Rising exhibition
developed aspects of Gnostic thought
and Greek mythology that Sasha has
long explored through her artwork,
informed by the Renaissance
hieroglyphic allegory of Ripa and
Aliciati together with her own brand
of surrealist symbolism.
